I just got my new Honey Bee King 2. Everything I've read makes it sound like a great heli but I'm having HUGE problems with the tail on mine...it just wants to spin out of control. I've tried 3 different gyros and the belt tension (to make sure it wasn't slipping...it isn't). The instructions aren't very clear and give no real set up information (yes...I bought the RTF). Can anyone offer any help? I've flown nitro heli's off and on for 15 years, but all this electric stuff is new to me!

First thought would be gyro reversed. What radio/reciever/gyro are you using?

The only difference is the power source -- fuel vs electrons. Everything else sets up the same.

Check that your gyro corrects in the right direction, it sounds as if it is reversed. If your gyro doesn't have a reversing function, mount it upside down from what it is now. That will reverse the gyro.

Oh...how I wish that were true. In my limited electric experience, I find nitro's to be much more stable...maybe because of their size? They also have switches that actually turn them off and on and I don't have to know much about speed controls, brushed vs. brushless, correct amperage, specific types of chargers for different ships...LOL. I'm sure I'll get it but you know what they say about teaching an old dog new tricks! Thanks for your suggestions...none have worked yet but I'll keep trying. It's nice to have connected with other "nuts" like me.

You may find the information you are looking for here [url=http://www.twf-sz.com/english/manual.asp]

Your gyro should have a reversing switch on top.

FYI there is a thread started for this heli in new and emerging electric helis. Also, a lot of Blade posters have been discussing it.
