And because almost all of us were unable to get constant and smooth run....

Me and my step father already ran the engine on a test stand and got it to run right after a bit of work. So it should run fine now and for overheating can't we just add a aluminum fan? I really would love to see this work and I have seen video's of 60 size helis and it works?

short answer is yes... im one of the ones who did a conversion and heat was a problem as well as getting that specific engine to run consistently... I would say unless you want to deal with quite alot of chalenges and consider that fun throw a nitro engine in it... if you just want to fly this is not the route to go....if you like to fiddle and innovate keep at it...

We had some issue's getting the engine to run but we got it running good now or do on test stand. Also for overheating what about using a bigger fan or a electric fan or something? I really want to make this work and also wondering what pinion I should use and what main gear?

Your best bet would to stick with what works. A century predator or a min air spectra G are already setup for gas motors. A lot of R&D went into them. They will have the proper gearing and clutch setup for a gas motor. The Zenoah g23 with a torpedo pipe is a good setup. I'm not a gasser expert, but a guy at the feild gave up his spectra because the motors shake the crap out of the heli. He tried 2 or 3 different motors. The Toxic made the most power, but still has issues. Check the gas forum, you will get solid answers there.

Shane, The replies you received are from people who have tried the conversion and, mostly, given up because of problems. I’m also one of them although mine is hopefully, just shelved for a while. If you have managed to get the engine to run well, put it in the heli and go fly. Use the existing gear and pinion although you may have to get a slightly larger pinion as the BME will probably not have the same speed as your existing 90. Be aware also that the BME will not have an equivalent power output as the glow 90. The figure I have seen is about equivalent to a glow 70. Post your work in the Gasser area and you may get the rest of us to re-kindle our original enthusiasm.

Yes I have gotten engine to run very well or did awhile back been sitting awhile now. Just heard I needed a different pinion witch I can't seem to find. But if I can just put it in the heli like it is and it will work I might try that? But I am also trying to work up money etc girls cost alot lol to buy some more parts.
