Does anyone make Knight specific aftermarket parts? Ive heard of guys using parts from other helis but does anyone besides Compass make parts for these helis? If not what would you guys like to see for aftermarket stuff?

There will be infinivation dampners for the head real soon, I just spoke with the manufacturer at IRCHA and gave him a complete head for measuring up. I will let you guys know when I hear back from him on availability. Other than that, I have not seen any other upgrades on the aftermarket.

I'd like to see the o ring dampers. That may make a nice improvement.

I have never seen a better head set than the dampeners that come in it. Why would you try to change them?

Does anyone make an adjustable fixture that helps you size your linkage rods?

YES! my buddy has one, i will ask him tonight who makes it and were he got it. It allows you to do 2 links at the same time and has a sliding ruler, its very cool

They sure do, they're called vernier calipers. If you're gonna do much heli building get a set. Most valuable tool for setup on the bench!

Knight flight, I actually have a pair but I though it would be cool to make a slider gauge with two pins you could measure and set with mics then fit your bar links too. Probably a needless project but it would be neat to have.

i reckon as the knight sell is smaller numbers, nobody will go to the trouble of making upgrades, high sellers Like TT,Hirobo and Align get an upgrade path not that either need much of importance

I dont know that the kight needs any upgrades that compass doesn't offer, If you want any other metal that doesn't come with the 3d you can get it (from the pro parts), even though its not needed for performance reasons. Nothing wrong with dressing your heli up if you like.

the only reason I'd like the o ring dampers is because they allow the initial damping movement to be soft but then progressively harder. It gives the heli a real locked in hover and stable flight, but still very responsive and resistant to boom strikes.

Century makes a pushrod gauge. It slides, has measurements in 1mm increments, and has two sets of balls fro snapping the links onto. Makes it very easy to get links to a specific length, and, if you are running push pull, get two links the same length.

At $36.00 or so, it was not cheap, but it is incredibly useful.

I got mine at MTA:

I'll probably make some parts for myself when I get comfortable with flying and get a feel for the knight. Iam very new to this hobby but Iam a tinkerer and tool and die machinest so naturally I cant leave anything alone

Like some have already said theres not much to improve on but its nice to have options for parts and customization. Im very excited I picked this helicopter.

The biggest thing i want is CF side frames... I know i know doesn't much affect performance, but i like the way they look so why not.

I have access to CNC machinist so guess i might have to order a side frame and draw em up in cad and have my own cut. If anyone is interested let me know so i offset the cutting cost.

I made a 1 off top mounted motor frame for the trex 600 before you could buy them and 1 set cost me 300$
