To make a long trip into a short was easy....Pull out of parking lot in Coopersburg PA....It was 4-5 miles to interstate 78 on the way to the JAmboree 625 mile due west...

Got on to the 78 & was excellerating most we were going was 40-45 when the trailor fish tailed...could not stop it....when from the right lane all the over to the left lane on a 3 lane hwy...well the center wall caught the side of my 07 Denali not much left....No one hurt so that is most important...

WE have more than 100 kits all boxed ready to deal...if any one wants a pre crashed heli on sale....PM me....

Irwin: Sory to hear that, that really sucks. I was looking forward to buying a Sweet Sixteen heli this week. Were your tires inflated properly? We pulled a trailer all the way from NY with no problem.

By the way, can we pit in your tent space since you already paid for it?

regards

Ace

You need to balance the trailor, just like a heli.
pick it up by the axles, if it tilts rearward, move the
gassers to the front.

On a serious side, my guess is not enough weight on the hitch.
Weight up high, up and down movement at the hitch pivot,
wind resistance at the top of a square trailor will change
your hitch weight.

Irwin, you dodged a bullet! Thank god nobody got hurt. I just read about it in yesterday's Morning Call. It sounded like it could have been worse. You know, I heard on the radio the other day that there was an accident at Summit Lawn "involving an SUV and a trailer". What I didn't know at the time is that the SUV and trailer were the same vehicle. I thought they meant an SUV and a tractor-trailer. And I also didn't know until this morning that it was you!

Anyway, like everyone else here, I wish the best for you and thank god you are okay!

i havent been on in a while but i just had to post on this topic. irwin sorry about the bad news. hopefully insurance will cover it. you should post some pictures. probably looked like heli genocide with heli parts strung all over the highway. id say that made a horrible mess. i still have my OD20 but i have been tied up with work. end of summers always rough where i work. ive only had 1 day off in a month. my plans to finish the heli have been pushed back until the first of the year when i get my income tax refund and ill get everything at once. the heli makes a good conversation piece

only way ill ever make the jack is if i work at a cheese factory
