For Sale
Augusta A109 with Raptor Mechanics.
The mechanics and the motor have about 5 or six flights on it, just to get the heli trimmed out and the motor fuel mixtures set. Then I built and installed the fuselage on the heli and flew it twice to make sure it was trimmed out well. It flys great, looks real good on the ground and in the air. The Heli is being sold without a radio or receiver. However it does come with the following installed:

1. Futaba 601 Gyro with Futaba 9251 rudder servo.
2. 4 9451 Futaba Servos.
3. 3,000 ma receiver battery pack
4. Carbon Fiber Main Blades
5. OS 91 sz Motor
6. Retracts and retract servo

Everything on this heli is new, they were all purchased at the same time.

$2300.00 Plus shipping and insurance

Kit with mechanical retracts = 409.99
http://www.thundertiger4u.com/raptor-c-29.html

OS.91sz starting at: 349.99 based on type of engine.
http://www.heli-world.com/searchres...?categoryid=247

Not sure about the fut301 gyro but you can get a fut401 w/9254 for 219.99
http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=169840

Servos are around 115.00 each but says only to be used with 611 gyro,
not sure if you can use these with any other gyro.
http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=148135

Again the retracts come with the heli. Unless you are using other brand or air retracts.

Carbon blades for this kit and style of flying are from 75.00 to 120.00

3000 ma batt around 69.99

Raptor .60v2 (KIT) = 489.99

So with this in mind and being used and without radio and reciever!
Price is too high!.

This kit is nice on the outside and well constructed but the retracts are not that great seeing how one servo controls all 3 gear via long sloppy linkages!. Not good. Thats why it sells for 409.99 w/retracts through http://www.thundertiger4u.com/raptor-c-29.html you get what you pay for and the labor to build it is not that much work as most everything is done for you.

I could see 1800.00 at the most and thats being generous for a used heli, not 2300.

good luck with your sale.

Sorry I made a typo in the orig. post. the Gyro is a 601 w/ a 9251 servo.
The raptor is the v2 kit.
You say the retracts are sloppy at best. I have to disagree with you. granted they arn't air retracts. but if they are set up right, and you use a good retract servo. they lock both up and down, and have never failed. I'm have a 240 oz retract servo. If people are having trouble with them it is because they didn't take the time to set them up right, or are using a in-expensive low torque servo.
T
he other 4 servos are 9451.
In my opinion, it is hard to call 5 or six flights, just to get the motor tuned and heli trimmed out USED, but everyone has thier own opinion.
Your priced are for the most part correct. However your forgetting tax and shipping. and ordering from all different places. The box the fuse comes in is approx. 6X2X2, shipping on that alone is quite a bit. I'm selling it for just a little bit less then I have in the unit. I enjoy building different heli's and fuse, more then I enjoy flying them. So I build them, test them and then sell them at my cost. Every one is more then welcome to go purchase all the componets involved and put it togeather themselves. Im not putting a gun to anyone's head to purchase this one. It's just built, tested, and fly's great if anyone wants it.
Anyway, thanks for your post
Jim

I agree with you about the retracts and the building part of them. If I could I would offer 2000 for it right now but unfortunatly I can't as I just don't have it at the moment. Looks like you did a really nice job on the build so I'm sure someone will give you what you ask. Have you tried RC Universe? they might jump on it in there.
Tell me , how did you like building that kit? I seen one up close but haven't built one yet and am wanting to order the fuse.
Keep up the nice work!.
Cheers!!
