Does the new X9303 have the exact same processor as the XP9303? The reason I ask is because I heard about the XP9303 "slowing down" when you program a number of mixes. The case was with a 4 servo sailplane and when one of the switches was operated, it took nearly a whole 2 seconds before the servos on the glider actually moved. So I'm wondering if the same processor will be used or if there is a faster processor in the new X9303.

Until it actually hits the streets, it is difficult to say.

that doesn't sound right in any way, shape or form.

People would be going ballistic if it was that bad.

M,
Do you have any pointers to more information on this "special" case? It sounds a bit ridiculous, to be honest.

There are literally thousands of airplane guys using the 9303 with jets, sailplanes, etc - all using multiple complex mixes. I think that if this was a true issue to this extent the radio would have been recalled. Anyway, I found the 9303 to be very fast and a great radio. I am still debating rather to get the X9303 soley based on money - the DX7 is doing everything I need, but I loved my XP9303 and have that desire to have all the toys the 9303 has combined with the DSM2 RF setup.

Do not worry about the processor in the 9303, it is not a problem.

Yeah, I know it's not a problem for me at all, I was just curious. I'll try to find what I was talking about...

I would imagine that it would be based on the same pcb. The current D version has the expansion connector which (I would imagine) would be used for the new system. Obviously the firmware will have been rewritten so as to remove the modulation option.

We will just have to wait and see.

Just had a quick look at the FCC site and the X9303 hasnt been listed (as yet) so I can't cross check using that.
