Hi everyone,

Noticed that my heli has a tendancy to yaw a bit when I hit full throttle going straight up. Never had this happen to me before. Any thoughts?

Best,
Andy K

What gyro do you have?

Saturday morning I flew my helicopter in my pajamas
How it got in my pajamas I'll never know

You need to look at your Revo Mixing on your Transmitter

Check if your tail servo is at a 90 degree position upon initalizing.

ONLY if you're flying in RATE mode. NEVER NEVER NEVER enable REVolution Mix in a transmitter if you are flying a HEADING HOLD gyro.

I'd guess gyro gain too low, servo arm not long enough, and/or a slow servo on the tail.

Look into your engine tuning, as well. Perhaps you're losing RPM when you romp on throttle.

Good point. What gyro and what tail servo are you using?

Yes, increase the gain till the tail wags, then back it off till there is no wag and to suit your flying preference.
