I left my RX switched on and run down my 4000mah duralite battery. When I connect the Duralite charger, no green light. Does anyone know of any trick to bring it back or have damaged it beyond repair?

Charge it as a nicad or nimh on a triton or similar but, listen carefully.

Limit the charge current to .5amp or less, keep an eye on it and shut it off when you get it over 6 volts or so and put it back on the DL charger.

Thanks for the advice. I will try it when I get home from work, I have nothing to lose if it does not work.

I did that once, it killed one cell in the pack. If you do manage to get it to take a charge on an alternate charger, swap the pack back to the duralite charger and see if it will full charge.

Mine would not and had to be tossed out. I started using an inline LED just to remind me that I had left the RX power on. It was a tough $100 lesson to learn.

Tried the normal charger and it failed to work. New battery cost £59 ($120)I have been looking around for an LED or low voltage wanring device.
