It rained all day yesterday so I finally got a chance to finish up my new 3D. I changed out the flybar for the stock Align one since I like the silver look better than the black. It also has the white ALign 3d skids. I'm also going to try the new stock paddles with a pair of Rototech 610's. Here's the complete list:

Hyper/MP5
9252's on cyclic
9253 on throttle
Multigov
611 gyro
95mm V-Blades on the tail
Custom Callie Graphics decals

Overall it looks much better on the bench than my 600n and the quality is a notch higher as well. Can't wait to fly it.

Looks really nice!! I know the new 3D paddle and Rotortec 610's work really well for me, so it will be interesting to hear what you think of them...

Welcome back!!

Same combo

I am also running that combo and it is the first heli I actually lowered the swash tilt on as the cyclic was too fast. The bonus is it is still hella stable and fast

Been seaching for this for some time it always was a trade off but no longer.

Your flybar is also a little longer so it should provide a little more leverage to control the blades so it should really pop !

Scott. Try the HS81 on the throttle and move the rudder servo to the throttle hole. It easy to make the bell crank mod. The 610's are what works best for me. If you are looking for some really good auto's try the 615's They dont have the cyclic pop but the auto's are awsome.

Looking good GScott. Nice canopy graphics too. I like that design better than some of the others that I have seen from Callie.

Well done G-man! I'll bet she flys as nice as she looks with how you have her outfitted! I will second the opinion that those graphics are very nice.

I'd leave the tail servo right where it's at if the heli doesn't balance tail heavy. It's a great solution if she is tail heavy though.

Do you have a weight on your 3D?

Great looking (with Trex 600 skid legs, I had those on my Knight Sport too)! I think I want a K3D as my next heli.

those graphics KILL the look of the stock ones. I guess that's what I should do.

Unfortunately I had a nasty ground incident last night. It went in pretty hard with surprisingly little damage. It hit hard enough to break 2 of the fins on my Hyper but the frames survived intact. I love the plastic skid mounts. They snapped saving the front frame. All totaled it was about $60 plus blades. If that had been my 600n I can almost guarantee the frames would have been toast as well as some of my electronics since it hit more nose first.

bad/good

Aw man sorry about the bad luck there. I know you had just got back to ripping that one around.
Great news on the damage cost though

Thanks for the feedback...and I hope she is back up soon !
