Hey all, well I did it I finished my EVO EX SWM. I wanted a YS50ST for it and put in an order through Horizon 4 months ago(I work PT at a hobby shop) when I heard about the motor. Well its been on back order ever since I heard about it.

BUT!!! Crazy Joe from Brooklyn felt my pain and HOOKED me up with a brand new YS50ST for my EVO EX!!! I really appreciate it dude!!! Well worth the few hours sitting in sunday "beach" traffic!! Going home went smooth...at 90mph!! Gotta love NY-CT traffic!!!

Cant wait to fire it up!! Leaving for IRCHA early tomorrow morning!!

Pictures to follow...but Im telling you when I do post them you will need to put your shades on...it BLINGS!!!! Mine is custom too...I anodized the bearing blocks, cross members, landing skids, clutch bell and hub,SWM base for mixing arms, finish washers to match the blue...YS50ST, 611, 9451s, MP5(not bought yet) GV1, Spektrum 9000rx.

Needless to say I am avery happy guy!!! Maiden flights at IRCHA!!

Everyone needs an EVO EX kit!!!!

Thanks again JOE!!

Jeff

Hi Jeff,
The Pleasure was all mine... Anytime I can assist just let me know.

Your Bird is WAY to Magnificent to fly! Guys you have to see what he has done to an already Exquisite machine. I would put a shelf up right over my bed in a glass case and stare at it until I feel asleep!

But Then again I would be sleeping alone

Yea still worth it

Good Luck let me know how it goes

In case you hadn't noticed, the EX series of Hirobo birds have NEVER been intended to be high volume sellers. They are simply the top of the line, no holds barred for those who can appreciate (and afford) what they offer. The regular EVO's are for those that don't want to spend the $$$, but want the same basic bird.

Dont understand all the fuss. Dont hear no one complainin about buying a Rappy Titan ans then turning around and buying a Zero G for it, then a Kasama head ans tail Geeshhh the Evo EX still come out cheap then that setup.. I have a Zero G ans I like it alot. But to make it equivlent to the EX, I would just rather buy the EX and deal with one company for parts vers 2.

Crazy Joe

I've met a ton of people in this hobby along the way. You won't find many people like Joe from Brooklyn. I deal with him all the time. He's a stand up individual and an all around good dude!

She flies...AMAZING!!!

Well I had it at IRCHA and when a JR guy(John Adams) tells you, man that is one beautiful heli and looks at it and drools you know its a good one!!!! John helped me with my YS!!

This heli is AMAZING!!! The YS is starting to come alive, almost a gallon through it...cant wait for three to be through it. I brought her right down on the deck for a my first PERFECT inverted hover. Talk about scary.

I do promise you pictures by the end of the week, just got home and Im shot!!

There will always be haters!! And the JEALOUS ones
