LOL seriously though... I never thought of the "Rotorway" since I have never seen one flying around. The closest to that would be the R22 and 44. Those are cool choppers.
I wish they would make an RC R22 in 1/3 scale, that would be cool.
I currently have the TT 500MD but modified it by raising the fuse to get longer looking struts (landing gear) and to shorten the distance the rotor grips are above the fuse so it don't look like a huge cell phone tower sticking above the fuse! lol and repainted it to my own scheme using "Casual Colors" by "Kilz" It ended up this paint is compatible with "LustreKote Clear" so it turned out really nice.
I have a few more small details I want to make on her yet like a double exhaust coming out both pipes for now and some exterior details too. Maybe cut the point off the rear end to make it more like a newer 500 with a rear exhaust and cut off and seal up the stock exhaust outlets. Don't know if I will use the rocket launchers yet... trying to figure out a way so I can mount the wings with some type of mount to allow me to put them on or take them off with a couple screws for transporting. I don't like them beiing mounted for good as it says to do.
I think the next thing would be the "Eyecam" up in the nose. My dive partner and I like to explore wooded areas for hidden springs in Florida since we do a lot of cave diving. Maybe that would benifit since you can't see whats out there from the trails.
Anyway, she has 4 flights and flies extremely well. The TT .70 is plenty of power for this fuse and heli if anyone is wondering.
Here's an oldie I had back in 2005 which was sold. It was a Century Fuse .60size
