"That being said, ccpm is ccpm doesn't matter how you cut the pie, its the head that is ccpm. Now how its activated would either be E' or M'"
I agree with this. I believe that CCPM is from the swash up. Doesn't matter how you move the swash whether e, m, or telekinetic. Basically,
CCPM...swash moves up and down for cyclic and pitch...or
old true mechanical...swash is stationary..only tilts for cyclic...and pitch slider is used for pitch (swash doesn't go up and down). ( My old Kyosho Concept helis are like this)
ALL TREX helis are CCPM...doesn't matter what the servos do just somehow push or tilt the swash up and down to Cyclic Collective and Pitch Mix that sucker.
Trex 450 SE = CCPM swash control = TRUE
Trex 450 HDE - Mechanical swash control = TRUE but also a CCPM heli
"Heim invented the system in the 70s"
Did he invent the head part (swash manipulation for ccpm) or did he invent the TX mixing and servo layout part. Or did he invent both at the same time?
Please prove me wrong...but I doubt it was both at the same time. I think first to come would be more CCPM on the head then somebody (Heim?) figured out how to make the mechanics more efficient by reprogramming a TX to mix a new servo layout to manipulate the CCPM head.
Is there a proper timeline for all this. Does somebody have a link to one?
