playing follow the leader can be very expensive in this hobby
i can see how someone in this hobby could esaily spend over 20k real quick trying to keep up with the jones ( follow the leader ) so im trying to just maintain my postrue w the 450 bracket. im having a ball and now that gerold told me how to cut back the dual rates to 45 percent for flying around by your house. ( it tames down the beast )

I agree Shawn,I just cannot see the smaller machines very well in the air.I do like the smaller machines alot though as they are a lot lighter on the ole pocket book.I will however say this much,I have banged up my 600 allready and it was very low cost to repair.Besides the blades($69.00)maybe 40 bones to repair.I just believe personally that if you are happy with a 450 to a 90 size machine, pic one, hang out with ya buds and have a blast doing whatever blows your hair back! The beauty of this hobby is aaaaaaaall the choices we haveShawn, when you get that new 700N,all else will be a tourist attraction for ya anyway! You know I got nothing but love fo ya ma brotha from anotha motha!!!lolol!!

i hear ya bud. i tell ya what impressed me, was the even smaller bird, your 250.. when you pirofliped her into the ground and you went right up to it and straightned up the blades and it flew off right again. Now thats cheap on the pocket book!

Yep fly what you have, fly what works for you, just fly. Never had a 450 and I don't have a 700. The smaller machines can be just plain harder to fly... The 450 is to tiny for me to work on and I want a bigger electric but the batts are holding me back so far.

IMHO if you really want to progress, spring for a good simulator. Then make yourself practice every day on things that you don't already know how to do. Actually have a plan, work on specific things. Saves on parts and gas.
