Can i remove the main shaft (hawk se) without splitting the frame? Someone said i could, but it wont budge at all. I removed the bottom jesus bolt, and loosen the mast stopper ring. Is there something i am missing here? The instructions look as if it would slide ride out.

Maybe the set screw is still catching the groove in the mast. Loosen the screw in the "mast stopper ring" a bit more or just remove it. There could also be thread lock on the shaft between the bearings and or getting held up in the one way bearing. It should come out though

Main shaft
Put a small screw driver through the upper shaft hole, hold the heli down with the other hand and pull hard. You will have to pull VERY hard to break it loose. Don't worry it won't break. I have have done this several times when the shaft is new and it works. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the tip, i ended up putting the main shaft head end, in a vise, and carefully pulled firmly on the frame, and it slid out, - yeah its a firm fit for sure
