I charge my radio, but when I start, after few minutes it's down.
Why this??
How can I solve the problem???

The battery could be old or not taking any charge or false peaking or something. We need more details to really figure it out. Cycle the battery and see how many Mah it takes.

I buy this battery 3 months ago, it's a 700mah nicd.
I discharge it, and to charge the time to have max power is a bout half hour, while every time i had charged it the time is about 7 hours.
What's the problem??

so now it only charges for 30 minutes as apposed to 7 hours before?

What is your charge rate?

If you have a 50mA charger, it will take (700 mAh/50 mA) 14 hours MINIMUM to charge.

It is mostly suggested to charge 1.4 times the minimum. So you should keep a 700 mAh battery on a 50 mA charger for about 19.6 hours.

Try that out.
