Could someone give me generic expo settings for a Raptor 30 using a JR 8103. Which controls should I add expo to and what value should I start with?.....I know that expo is a positive number on JR radios correct?....Bill

I have not got a raptor V2 30 , but I do fly a 60 and sceadu 50.

Normally its best to start around 20 % to 30 % on ELEV and AEI . Then go from there .. and see how you like it.

Correct on the positive value .

I'm using 30% on the pitch and roll channels, but i have reduced the amount of control movement of these channels by around 15% compared to the way it was suggested in the manual. My flying is only basic 3D and by reducing the total movement and adding expo, its makes for a very easy to fly heli, nice and relaxing for me. With the higher head speed for 3D, I am no where close to using full control movement of the Tx sticks.
Just remember to enable expo when in the idle up modes when having a play.
As for the rudder, that will depend on the type of gyro installed.
Have fun

HMMm.. I thought it was negative, but I'm probably just mis-rememering.. The important thing is that the curve "flattens" out in the middle -> more stick throw for same servo output

It is a positive #, and I am using only 5%. I am still in the learning to hover stage, but I like it to be somewhat responsive when I move the sticks. I tried a larger number, but it seemed like it took forever to recover if the heli started to drift in one direction.

Everyone is different, so I suggest to just try diff settings and see how it feels for you..
