hey travis,

great photos! funny to think your balloon photos and our air to air attempt were even on the same day!

that was a good bit of fun flying with you. img_002.jpg came out alot better than i thought it would. and i really like img_0092.jpg if only the ripples in the water came out...

for our next air to air shoot i want to be able to read the v blades logo on your blades

i spy with my little eye...

a joker?

that shadow/highlights works wonders for those dark days....

Pete,
"I'm glad you are enjoying the local beer. Where are the photos..."

Here is an aerial from the Mt. Cook area:

We stopped in Hamilton for fish and chips/beers while heading to Raglan.

MPA,

"Had to go past Napier and Christchurch."
Lots of potential for pole shots around Cathedral Square in Christchurch.

Cheers,

Ian, That sounds like one hell of a challenge. I think that you are going to need one hell of a "running start", and I am not sure that I will be the one filming it, but we will see. Here is another, this of the infamous autocopter.

Dude Travis great shots there.
I dont know if you remember me but we have flown a bunch of time together at Hamilton. Haven't been there in a long time. If your free sometime we should get together with k2shots and do some shoots.

Travis,
That winery is cool.
We saw that on a trip last spring and thought it would make a great aerial.
Guess we were right.

Like Travis said, get a Tx mitt.

Allows me to fly all winter long.

Travis, like I said the guest room is ready You just have to share it with the epson 7800 printer so it can be a bit cramped!

Scott, I have the transmitter mitt but I really am uncomfortable flying with the thing on. First time I used is I accidentally hit hold with the 21lb maxi and had the pleasure of a "live" auto

Tabb,

Thanks for the kind offer, I look forward to swinging by sometime in the near future.

Funny that you say that about the mitts, I slope with them, but I have had exactly the same experience with the rotor craft, except my landing cost me about $700.00. I was semi pulling your leg.

Here is one of the better images from my latest shoot with the trexCam600. This is my parents new property in Corvallis Oregon. They purchased it about a month ago. The image was taken over the thanksgiving holiday.

For anyone that knows oregon during this time of year it is rare for it to not be raining. I was there for 4 days and on the day of the shoot the sky opened up. i had about a 40 minute window to shoot before the rain came back.

This shoot was also the first with the new camera(sony r1) and video downlink.

I have to say i was quite suprised with the resualts the heli didn't have any problems hauling the cam around and in fact was quite a bit more stable with the extra pound of wieght, and the downlink worked flawlessly.

My "clients" were very pleased with the resualts

DB,

Very nicely done!! Oregon is where I was born and raised, it will always be home even though I have been down in Norcal for the last 15 years. Here is one from late lunch time sortie this afternooon.

"An enduring symbol of UC Berkeley, Sather Tower, known as the Campanile, was completed in 1914 and stands 307 feet tall. An elevator ride to the observation platform at the 200 foot level provides visitors with a spectacular view of the entire Bay Area and of the campus."

Nice shot FB...that's where I was born and raised...it will always be home even though I have been in Monterey for the last 15 years..lol.

My mom taught at Cal and I seem to remember throwing pennies off the top of the Campanile when I was a kid...when she wasn't looking!
