I have a MiniMax Gear Reduction starter and the Century Hex shaft. The Hex shaft is attached directly to the MiniMax. The problem I'm having is that the Hex shaft keeps coming loose. Anyone have any suggestions to keep it tight?

Have you tried putting some locktite on the starter shaft? Also be sure to tighten the screws on the sides of the hex shaft that pinch it to the starter shaft after you screw it on. If that doesn't work maybe the purple part of the hex shaft was stripped and you'd need a new one.

Sometimes, you just have to run a screw with a bolt through it.
