Many people use a 401 on the Predator. I used to use one on mine, but decided to switch around some of my electronics and an now using a LogicTech 6100. The 401 worked admirably on my Predator and I didn't switch it for any other reason than I wanted to move things around and experiment with other configs.

Aviation has a perfect record, we've never left one up there.

I used the 401 on my Predator for some time. It worked well and I did not have any problems. If you are not doing much 3D I would just fly it nad not worry about it.

I have a 601 on my Predator right now and I am thinking of going back to the 401, I like it better.

I have one on my min air xcell gasser.. Works great especially if mounted with the green zeal mouning pad. I always had some drifting till I tried the green stuff.

Why buy?? when you can borrow and no return

funny thing is... they, the heli manufacturers don't even think of putting a spot on their heli's for a gyro, or at least for my hawk, there is a spot on my Z230 but it interferes with my canopy.

Got a 401 on my Intrepid. I agree with the Zeal tape. Had the same drift until Chris Bergen hooked me up with the Zeal at a funfly. What a difference.

What heli? My intrepid has a dedicated spot for a gyro.
