I added one shim on each side of the blade grips on my pro. After that I noticed the blade grips were nice and firm with no slack on them when I horizontally pulled/pushed them from side to side. There is just the slightest, and I mean slightest slack on them now which is really not noticable, and a definite improvement over the other setup. But prior to this there was play on them. Anyone had the same experience on their pro?

the "O" rings can take a set and require additional shims after a period of time. Entirely normal, I think.

Just be careful you don't get too stiff. Too little damping will cause the tail to bob up and down in an almost uncontrollable motion. You need just a "little" give. As always, it's a compromise between control response and flight characteristics.

I just did the same thing on my CP, only I had to add 2 shims to each side to minimize the play. Haven't flown it yet, but we'll see tomorrow.
