So i had my first hot start with my OS50Hyper in years, and although i had a couple back in the days with the OS32's i never imagined it could do this much damage!
The clutch in my R30v2, the first heli i bought over 3 years ago has been used solid for 2 years and on/off for a third and then today my 50 hot starts...
It just took off ALL the liner and the shoe arms are totally bent out...

This jst seems way OTT, the speed at which it totalled the liner!
I'm horrifed...
So that was 3 hours at the club wasted... although interestingly i managed a hover on that clutch haha, no supprise idle up just didnt do much...

That 3 year old clutch.... Back in service heh...

Well thats what totally got me...
It litterally took about 3-4 seconds because i had just put my TJpro on and thought it was that (for some strange reason lol) but it was actually when i had taken off the servo horn the night before and then fiddled with it and put the horn back on at 90 degrees as usual, although the servo was actually around 2/3'rds throttle *sighs*.
Am not usually one for silly mistakes but oh well..

And yeah, dont think i'm going to bother ever buying another 30 size engine... this proves the sheer difference heh.

Haha,
You wouldnt belive!
Burn it out, give it a wipe with a dry cloth and it looks good as new - the liner
