i'm using CoolPower 30% and 0S 8's in my OS 37 engine and after 1 -2 flights the engine gets low on power & quits and the plug has to be changed.the "coiled up wire " in plug looks streched .I try'd rich'n motor and then it smokes loads and crapy power. Any help ?
Any base settings to work with will be helpfull.

you do know that CP30 fuel DOES smoke a lot, right?

it certainly sounds like the engine is running too lean.

Did you seal the exhaust with RTV? If so look closely at the plug with a magnafying lens, if you see orange flecks there's your problem. If the coil is distorted though you are probably running lean.

2 turns is way too rich for the OS 37. Try somewhere between 1.25 and and 1.5 and then lean it out to suit.

Set to 1.5 turns, after hard start it ran very rich ,leaned it close to 1.25 and it runs great to me .Most importantly it didnt kill my plug ! Thanks guys.

Most often short plug life with a mangled element is a sign of too much compression. Try lowering the nitro a bit or adding an9other head gasket.
