Guys,
I just mounted the long tail kit and as I mounted the main blades I discovered that my blades doesn't fit into the grips

I ordered the recommended SAB0310 (530mm) blades and assumed that those fit just into the grips. However the mounting holes in the grip ar to close to the center of the MR. Basically the blade touches the screw holding the grip

I guess it is not recommended to just sand the blade in order to make it fit - so what to do?

Thanks
Stefan

Not a problem

Hi

Just take both blades & hold together with a long 3MM screw & use a belt sander or sand paper with a block & trim down ther root end enough to clear the screws in the blade grips...

Enjoy the machine & please keep us posted....Irwin

I had same problem with SAB 530mm. I didn't want to sand the blades so I decided to switch to KOK 525mm. No problems with blade grips there.

KEEP US POSTED...

Sorry we can not control the way the blades are manufactured. However it is not a big deal to sand down the root end....it will not weaken the strength so do do worry...Please keep us posted on you flight results....irwin
