Hi.
I think the new item from Align can be used on
a Hawk etc. And Thrust Bearing, wow.
All that for only USD 16,-.
If I was going for a Raven Tail rotor, it is around USD 70,-

●Bearing MR105ZZ x 2(Φ5xΦ10x4mm)
●Thrust Bearing F5-10M x 2
●Washer x 2(Φ3xΦ8x0.6mm)
●M4 set screw x 1(M4x4mm)
●Socket screw x 2(M3x8mm)
●Sokcet collar screw x 2(M3x20mm)
●M3 nut x 2

This night I put on then new T-REX tail on my Raven 50.
It is a direkt replacement, no problems at all.
It has one trust bearing and one radial bearing in
the bladgrips, like the Synergy N9.
I be back with flight info soon.

Why would you want to down grade the Raven tail...in stock configuration it has two radial bearings and a thrust bearing.

The government cannot give you anything without first taking it from someone else.

Steve,

I agree 100%. If one wants to upgrade the Hawk tail rotor he would get a better one for less with that from the Predator/Raven

SteveH:
I can now see that I can have a complete Century tail rotor: CN2235,
for only USD 39,95. My prise USD 70,- is based on singel items.
But the T-REX is still only USD 16,-

But the TRex 600 tail rotor is a basic single radial with thrust bearing system. And if memory serves, I do not think it has a heavy duty steel rotor hub that uses lock nuts to secure the blade holders. I believe it uses the weaker 3mm hex bolt or similar item that screws into a lighter duty aluminum tail rotor hub.

In my opinion is that better, it alows the tail blads to flex a littel, and take the stress away from the tail shaft.

In my opinion, a more rigid tail rotor is far more desirable when it comes to 3D. But whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Does it have a completely integrated hub like this?

Thank you JK,

Looks like the blade grips are secured to the rotor hub with hex bolts rather then lock nuts.

It is not as good a tail rotor as that from the Raven (CN2235) but if the hub is of steel and not machined aluminum it is still better then a stock Hawk t/r.
