I've got a very new (maybe 5 cycles?) Evo 4900 6S2P battery that wont seem to charge. I'm using a TP1010 and balance when I first plugged it in it told me that there was a slight imbalance (:confused so I proceeded to let it balance for a bit, then tried charging - now it never gets past the initial charge and times out of the initial charge. I check the pack voltage and it's a bit low - 21.7 (not too bad right? and I have no idea how it got that way as I didn't over discharge it in flight!)

Anyway - I reset the initial charge time-out to 15 minutes and redid it and it still timed out and the voltage on the pack didnt change a bit.

Well? What now? Do I have a bad one? If so how do I contact Flight Power?

Ahh, gotta love lipo's.

Dont worry, Flightpower customer service will take care of you if the pack is bad.

However, If you click on the SEL button 3 times and view each cells voltage, what does it say?
(How much voltage each cell)

Andy!

How's it going man. Long time no see.

Anyway, before you send in the pack, try to charge another battery. Maybe it's the charger.

Later,
Dave
