Yeah it sucks to crash the Rex....but it would be a lot worse in a larger ship! I only crashed twice, one inverted, one minor on the ground and I got rid of the Karbonite servos since they always break gears!

I also run plastic blade grips now so the damage is less and can look forward to the grips breaking and saving some other components (aluminum will transfer the impact to something else rather than just taking it and breaking)

I think your post title is a bit misleading mate,,

I wouldnt call that totalled at all,,

Ive had worse crashes than that and laughed about it

Piece of pi$$ to fix and reset up

When you really total a heli then moan,i have done so with a Raptor 30,full power inverted into the ground,ALL electronics desroyed and pretty much every heli component bent or broken..

Thats totalling a heli

totalling it means you put it in the garbage beacause nothing is usefull on the heli, nothing. I have done that twice, well over a grand of loss, so the little rex is well,,,,nothing in comparison when you put it in...

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Yeah, I definately wouldnt call that totaled. Hell, you are not even bad enough to have to "kit" the heli. Trust me, I've been there and that sucks.

Glad to hear that you got your first one out of the way and that it wasnt all that bad. Once you get to l0 or so, you'll get to the point were you only call it a "bad" crash if you have to replace the electronics.

Good luck getting her back up. Welcome to club UPGRADE OPPORTUNITY!!!

This is exactly why I love my T-rex SE.
When I crash one of my Furies, it always costs at least $150.00
The average crash being about $300.00!!!
When I stuffed the lil' Rex in a bad way, I thought it was going to cost me a couple of hundred bucks AGAIN! The worst crash with my T-rex was only $75.00. The best part is that the Rex will do everything my Furies do!!!
After flying the Rex for several months, My Fury flying is much, much smoother. Everything happens so quickly with the Rex that my reaction time has improved greatly. That is a huge benefit when flying a .90 size ship.
