I believe it is 3xHS65MG cyclic servos and a S9650 with GY-401. However, for a slightly less expensive and equal performance gyro, you can easily get the LogicTech 2100T for 105 instead of 140 for the 401.

Motor wise, the Medusa 28-40-3400 and a good 35-45 amp esc with the best 3S pack you can get seems to be the ticket. The new 25C Lipo cells that are out and coming out to replace the 20C cells are going to be awesome according to some of the companies. I know Polyquest(enercell) is going to have their 25C cells out soon along with other companies. I am going to try the new Flightpower 25C cells next and see if they are any different than my Thunder Power Extreme cells. Lipo's are the one place that you don't want to go cheap on a EP heli

IMO, for 3 cell running, hard to beat Medusa 28-32-3400 on 12T pinion, controlled by Jazz ESC in governor mode. Great power, no bogging, really cranks, but soooooo smooooooooth!

Don't over look the new JGF500T motor. I run mine on a 14T with TP2100's. Get 3150-3200 head speed. Pulls 11.5pitch no problem, very little bogging and it pulls about the same amps as the align 430L. I don't have a medusa, so I can't compare it to them. However, my setup after 5 minutes of just flips, rolls and full collective climbouts, I use about 1350 out of my 2100 TP pack. But the climb out is a lot better then the align 430L with 13T plus about 200 on the head speed more.

The motor stays very cool as well. Right after a 5 min. flight, I landed and it checked the temp, 81deg. It's about 58deg. outside when I flew it.
