Why do they move any of the posts? I understand the different forum headings and topics and all but it seems like the RR cops need something better to do than police the forums so closley. There are times (on another site) when I may post an electric heli question in the nitro section for a reason that may not be so obvious except by someone who may be having a similar problem. I usually get very good answers and never has anyone minded the crossover for the sake of exchanging information. But here????

Just my 2cents.

They are supposed to flying the Nitro version at the Birmingham Fun Fly next weekend. You should be able to get a definate date at Bham for the release.

Told by whom? Somebody who can know something like someone from MinAir or Bert Kammerer (Razor test pilot) or just straight of the rumor mill?

It wasn't too long ago that Bert Kammerer was talking about May/June. In fact it still says end of May on his website. August does seem to be an unexpectedly long delay.

The new poll on the MinAir website suggests that they haven't decided on the manual media yet so I'm afraid June is also off the table.

We saw the final production version of the nitro razor 2 weeks ago

the parts are in production and the model will be out with 2 months

they were playing with gear ratios the rest is all sorted out.

the machine is certainly much lighter when lifted up next to a raptor 50

both machines had very similar electrics and motor and pipe, so it was a fair comparison and the razor was much lighter.

Bobby watts was the man with it and demoing it.

Minature have had dramas getting supply of canopys for all models, this has now been resolved and all kits now include canopies, as per your note.

hope that answers your questions

ENV - Still laying it down !….Ohhh yeh !!!

This was said in March too when the May/June date was suggested. How much time does one need to do this?

If August is the new target today it will have been postponed until at least September by the time August is upon us. (Release dates tend to be slipping more when they are set further into the future).

They are going to miss this flying season.

On a personal note: I don't know how many delays I can take without loosing interest completely. I was really excited about this machine 15 months ago when it was presented but it is hard to stay excited when the release date is pushed forward every 2 months.

It has got to be a really amazing machine to live up to the "It will be worth the wait" saying.
