Very cool, it's great when a project gets to that point.

Nice looking Bell Totto. Seems like your first flights are always done over the snow. Is this done on purpose? (softer surface just is case.....).
Any plans to install the Vario on-board starter? I'll be waiting to see flight vids when complete. About what head speed wre you running?

The 412 holds a special place in my heart, it was the first full scale helo I had a flight in. I had to fly out to a oil exploration vessel operating in the Gulf of Mexico. That flight deck sure looked small as we came into land! It was a very memorable day.

Thank you A&P / Chum ! Good luck with your EC-135 (A very nice model !)

Hello Larry and thank you !
Well, this year it is almost zero snow. Last year was terrible. I normally start building when the summer is finished and then when I start testing the snow is here :-) Not on purpose, but you are right it is much softer if you drop down in powder snow than on asphalt etc

For the time being I have no plans to install the on board starter. Yepp easy with just a switch on the TX... The head speed maybe around 1300 + I guess. Will install a Governor.

Will post some flying vid’s hopefully

Hello Rckfish and thank you !

After some adjustments it is better now and i like it very much. A benzin engine in a scale model is just great. I will fly it for a while until i am satisfied with it all and then start the detailing work / paint. Looking forward to both. I can imagine that you miss your very nice model alot. Hopefully you fix it again quite soon.

You appear to have a "worm-hole" above your flying field! Every time the helo "winked out", I waited for it to reappear sitting on my desk. I was very disappointed.

You have a very nice flying helo there, very scale-like. Once you get it detailed and painted, it will be a very nice addition to your fleet. Have you got a color scheme in mind yet?
