I just bought a used Vario Benzin Trainer here on RR. The throttle linkage is not hooked up and I am unclear how it hooks up to the carb. Maybe someone could post a pic of the setup. Also were is a good place to mount the gyro? Thanks for any help. Charlie

I mount the gyro up front on the radio tray. Regarding the throttle there should be a small arm on the bottom of the carb by the base plate. The arm should be attached to the brass rod that rotates the butterfly, that is what you attach your throttle linkage to. If you look at the picture you will just see a clevis right about the base plate beneath the carb.

I cut down a dubro planker front nose wheel steering arm for my Benzin.

I had to drill out the arm to get it to fit on the arm, but it worked.

Might save you from having to wait on shipping.

That arm really should be included in the kit.

The Century P-Gas has it in the kit even if you buy the heli without the engine.

I think it would be a good PR move.

I use this setup. You can get the green lever from T.Fiddler. It screws right into the top plate. Much easier to work with. I made the link myself. Just two bends.
