people mostly use 10s packs, capacities around 8000mah typically. or you can go with 12s setups, with around 6000mah, depending on what motor...

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

depends on how long you want to fly. 10s 4600mah would work, but also depends on what you're carrying. If you got the money, I'd go bigger, and stretch the ion to swing 810's, and switch motor. if you're looking to just play around, then you setup will work.

JR,
I use Ions for my AP, so I will let you know what works for me anyway.
One Ion is using the stock Hacker motor and esc, with 700's, the other Ion I have changed to a Neu motor, still with hacker esc and streched to swing 800's.
I use the same packs on both of them TP 5s4p 8000mah. These give a 10 to 12 minute flight time and have worked well. I did try a set of 5s3p 6000mah packs, they seemed okay with the load, but flight times were shortned to 7 to 8min withthe camera on, and I want the longer time of the 8000's, but it is a matter of personal preference.
If the packs you mentioned are rated for the load (about 55A to 70A on my recorder) they will work, but flight times my be pretty short.

Hope this helps,
Pat
