You can definetly slope fly a heli, and possibly ( although doubtful) d.s. a heli. The key with dsing is the use of inertia, in that the wind accelerates the model when it hits it ( you can use many ways to explain it, the model trades wind speed for lift) and then the downwind leg really just builds up momentum... Heli's don't have a heck of a lot of momentum, but more importantly, they've got a lot of drag, and moving parts.
Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.
