I just got a new DN charger w/ balancer in the past I have used my triton and it works well. problem is not balanced so now I can use my DN but I don't know how may milliamps I am putting back in. what is my best course of action should i charge on triton then put is on the DN to balance it or just use the DN and not worry about the milliamps

I like to see how much mah I am putting back into my batts.. This will help ensure you are not discharging them to much. 75-80 % of their capacity is the golden rule I believe.

I have both chargers and just use the DN power. I Never worry about how many ma are going back into the battery. If you really want you can charge with the Triton and then through it on the DN to balance it BUT the problem is if one of the cells dies the triton will continue to charge the other two cells BUT it will be charging for three cells and will overcharge the remaining two cells.....can you say fire?

I have/had both. I got rid of the DN and ot an Equinox balancer for the Triton. Balanced packs and I know how much I put back.

The other way would be to use them alternately. Charge this time on the DN, next time on the Triton. And with both, you can charge two packs at a time. That way they will be balanced every other time and in between you can monitor how many mAH you are putting back to make sure you don't over discharge your packs.

I was going to replace the DN with the FMA CellPro that is a balancing charger and also tells you how much you put back, but I picked up a Tp 1010C at a good price and added the 210V balancer.

With the 1010C/210V and some cables you cna charge 3 x 3S packs at the same time.
