Im up in the air on Vs, either 710s or 690s im not sure yet. Metal balde grips so they are 12/5 root right?.

I like the idea of faster response, but im reading some are boggy and some arent boggy with 690s?

But im doing some inverted autos my machines and im thinking 710s for that?

I have on hold some 710s, but im still wanting to see what other people say between these 2 baldes and if there are any comparison.

Im getting Vs cause radix are out of stock EVERYWHERE, and well Vs are my 2nd choice.

SO, did you get the 690's or the 710's?? I was also wondereing why V'Blades were your second choice because I am dying to try the Radix
blades, but like you said they are out of stock everywhere right now!
Radix is a big differnce?

i've flown the v690's and the radix 710's. I prefer the radix, they seem to retain hs a lot better but they are not quite as snappy on the cyclic. V's are easier to bog if you foul up on collective or cyclic. I didn't auto the v's but the radix float in nicely.

Well Ive had my experience with the 600 radix vs Vs 600. The Vs have some killer stopping power, and are very quick and snappy. But they just dont have as much energy on an auto as the radix does, which is now what i am needing due to me getting lower and lower on my inverted autos.

Yes I ended up getting the radix. 710, 185g ones.

I've always flown with radix 710 185G blades... but recently, I got myself a pair of 710 175G blades. Man, the 10G difference is badass. I love the new blades.

Anyone that flys radix should check out the new lighter weight blades!

I am keeping an eye on this thread. Anyone else?

I have a set of 690 V's now that I don't really care for and am wondering how the Radix 710's will compare.
I like my Radix 600's but have not compared them to anything yet.

What did the lack of 10G do? Just speed up the cyclic? How do they auto compared to the heavier ones?

They sure didn't load up as easy! The cyclic was a bit faster, but not too much. It just made the helicopter feel lighter in the air.

As far as autoing, they auto just as well, maybe not QUITE as good, but I'm talking a marginal difference. However, I did find that if you lost a lot of head speed during an auto, it was much harder to get your blade speed back. This is probably the same as the heavier blades, but with the heaver blades, its much harder to loose your blade speed.

For example, when I was doing some basic inverted autos, if I didn't manage the collective perfectly during the flip out, I would have to hit my hold switch and fly away... but when I did manage the flip perfectly, the blades seemed to auto just as good as the 185's.

Next time you need some new radix blades, dont hesitate to give the 175's a try.
