Do most people experience a right rudder trim change of about 1/3 of the entire trim as the battery goes down ?

Yes, that is a rate gyro for you:-) Try a small Heading Hold gyro.....but that will require a small ESC for the tail.

See the Post http://runryder.com/helicopter/t316630p1/

I had the same problem on my BCP, and I fixed it by getting a t-rex.

It's not entirely the fault of the rate gyro. It's mainly because the Nimh battery slowly drops voltage as it drains. It performs a lot better with a Lipo battery on it.

Yes that is normal, I usually set it up with a little left trim with a full pack and at 1/2 battery it is centered and as the pack goes south I hold a little right stick. I don't play with the trim adjustment during flight I just use the stick to compensate.....

Tom..... No "D" flying....
