How do I tell vertically, if the main shaft is installed correctly. How do I know if I put it in upside-down or not.

Thank You!

It is the same either way..the hole is the same distance away from the end of each part of the shaft

While the the holes are the same distance from each end, it DOES matter which way the shaft is installed. (I know this because I installed the shaft upside-down the first time through assembly).

Unlike the Raptor 50, the lock ring with the two bolts that screw into the shaft does not sit on TOP of the upper main shaft bearing -- it sits BELOW it. You'll know you've got the shaft in upside-down if the holes that the collar set screws go into are ABOVE the upper bearing (i.e. just below the swashplate). It's an easy mistake to make if you've built a 50 before. Unfortunately the manual is pretty vague on this.
