yeah, my skids buzz a bit in a high idle while I'm carrying out to the line. She smooths right out when up to RPM.

I used to have a fuel foaming issue, so I put velcro loop side between the tank and carbon frame plate. Helped a little, but balancing the fan, hub, and clutch bell helped a lot more. Now, my fuel tank looks like an aquarium even at half full.

I had balanced the fan and hub before on an older mag balance. I bought a new High Point and redid the balance plus put the clutch bell on, which was off a bit itself.

it doesn't really have to - something to check is the run-out and trueness of your fan hub, and clutch/starter shaft - check it for wobble with a dial indicator - solve any wobble there and so long as everything else that's obvious is done correctly you should be good to go. mine started off with a good buzz, but after doing that, and very precicely balancing the fan and hub assembly it turned smooth as silk.
