Ok, I have read about people adding extra oil in their fuel for extra protection. I was just wondering, could one use regular two cycle oil for chain saws......ect? Has anyone ever done this? Just an idea.

DO NOT use a regular petroleum based oil like 2-cycle oil. Heli oils have to mix with methanol, which most oils won't do. If you want to add oil you can get it from Klotz. My lhs even stocks it. But I don't think you need it unless you are trying to use a non-heli formulated fuel.

I add some...

Heli fuel needs AT LEAST 18% oil .
Some fuels have only 15%.

I add some ( even if it has 18% a small ammount )
and always klotz !

.

Keep it up...literally
