Awhile back I read the definition of addiction, and if you need help, addictions are not by nature bad, but when they take over your life... thats when you need to seek help... Heres my google found addiction definitions (changed wording a little for heli's), All questions are answerd with a scale of 0-5; 0 means it dosnt apply, 1 means rarely and 5 being always:

1. How often do you find that you stay in the air longer than you intended?

2. How often do you neglect household chores to spend more time with your RC Heli?

3. How often do you prefer the excitement of your RC Heli to intimacy with your partner?

4. How often do you form new relationships with fellow RC Heli users?

5. How often do others in your life complain to you about the amount of time you spend with your heli?

6. How often do your grades or school work suffer because of the amount of time you spend with your RC Heli?

7. How often do you check your linkages before something else that you need to do?

8. How often does your job performance or productivity suffer because of your RC Heli?

9. How often do you become defensive or secretive when anyone asks you how well you fly?

10. How often do you block out disturbing thoughts about your life with soothing thoughts of your RC Heli?

11. How often do you find yourself anticipating when you will go flying again?

12. How often do you fear that life without your RC Heli would be boring, empty, and joyless?

13. How often do you snap, yell, or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you are mid-flight?

14. How often do you lose sleep due to late-night flights?

15. How often do you feel preoccupied with your RC Heli when away from it, or fantasize about being in the air?

16. How often do you find yourself saying "just a few more minutes" when flying?

17. How often do you try to cut down the amount of time you spend on your RC Heli and fail?

18. How often do you try to hide how long you've been coddling your RC Heli?

19. How often do you choose to spend more time repairing your RC Heli over going out with other non-RC Heli people?

20. How often do you feel depressed, moody, or nervous when you are not coddling your RC Heli, which goes away once you are back in the air?

Whats total score?
Results:

After you've answered all the questions, add the numbers you selected for each response to obtain a final score. The higher your score, the greater your level of addiction and the problems your RC Heli causes. Here's a general scale to help measure your score:

20 - 49 points: You are an average Heli addict. You may Fly a bit too long at times, but you have control over your usage.

50 -79 points: You are experiencing occasional or frequent problems because of your RC Heli addiction. You should consider the full impact on your life.

80 - 100 points: Your Internet RC Heli is causing significant problems in your life. You should evaluate the impact of your RC Heli on your life and address the problems directly caused by your RC Heli.

After you have identified the category that fits your total score, look back at those questions for which your scored a 4 or 5. Did you realize this was a significant problem for you? For example, if you answered 4 (often) to Question #2 regarding your neglect of household chores, were you aware of just how often your dirty laundry piles up or how empty the refrigerator gets?

Say you answered 5 (always) to Question #14 about lost sleep due to late-night flights. Have you ever stopped to think about how hard it has become to drag yourself out of bed every morning? Do you feel exhausted at work? Has this pattern begun to take its toll on your body and your overall health?

PS: This was ripped off from an internet addiction site, lol... It worked soo well ('borrowed and modifyed from:' http://www.netaddiction.com/resourc...iction_test.htm)

I'll be fine, as long as someone doesn't get the idea of a "heli"-vention. (intervention).

Where's that EASY button?

only got a small heli for fun because of peer pressure. You know, Just now and again with freinds. Thought I could handle it. But you know whats its like. You always wan't more. Bigger, Faster. Before I knew it my Heli fuel bill was more than the family car each month. Eating went out the window. Electricity turnd off because every last penny spent on Bling. But it s OK. Its under control, Honest

will work for fuel
