Need some help guys, how do I determine if my head speed is correct or not , I'm running 12 pinion and 25t tail everything seems to be fine heli flyes good but I want to make sure that I'm doing evyrthing right since I'm a newbe.

So far I just hover and fly loops the easy stuff but I'm sure once I get ito hard 3d type flying I will need to udjust few things can you all advice on this subject 3d set up and head speed?

what does this mean ----"Drag Co-Efficient" how do i know what to chose to use that diagram ?

The best way to know your headspeed is to measure it with a tach.

I would just leave the drag setting at 90 and it should give you a pretty accurate head speed

agreed, i just used it to calculate my headspeed and it gave me 3074 for my setup. i have tached it at 3050...

If you want to fly 3D, I think most guys are using the 13T pinion to get the headspeed up higher fof the harder 3D stuff..... After that they are going to bigger motors and esc for more power...

ideally you'd probably wanna be around 3000-3100rpm... if you're running that high you'd want to use CF blades though, IMO..
