I am having a few negative issues with this company, and am now wondering if perhaps I should have gone elsewhere. If anyone has a phone number or contact info other than email it would be appreciated.

I believe I have given Dave from Blinktrading every opportunity to make good and he has not, thus I am posting this message to alert others about his style of business. I purchased a copy of Phoenix sim online from his store back in Dec. 06., and he over charged me 27.00usd. I emailed him and he said a mistake was made at his end due to CDN vs USD. I thought he should know his own prices, but I accepted the fact that mistakes are made. He promptly emailed me back and said a credit could not be processed b/c my Visa wouldn't accept it. Not. Visa told me no transaction of credit even on a cancelled account is blocked. Many emails were sent and he says credit was done on my account. As of today Visa has not received it, nor have I received the sim. I know Canadian customs can be a real pita and can hold things for up to two weeks. Well it's the second wk in Feb and I havn't received anything and Dave has not bothered to respond to my latest emails regarding the sim nor the credit. Visa has initiated a dispute claim and said it would be resolved. I know others have posted problems with Blinktrading, and others are satisfied, I am not one of the later. Sorry for the long post, just needed to vent.

About this time last year I noticed someone who only ever posted to advertise or defend Blinktrading - never a post about their newest heli, gyro problem or any of the other things that people are supposed to come to RR for.

Convinced me not to go near them. Mark deleted that person's account.

No, you're fine! I'm not trying to say you shouldn't post your experiences.

The particular poster I'm referring to was so obviously just pumping Blinktrading there was only one possible conclusion, that they were Blinktrading. It was the fact that they were trying to pump their business in a deceptive way that was the problem.

Most of the traders and reps on RR are quite up front about their affiliations and give helpful advice without bias.

I have no connection with any trader. In the normal course of business dealings and life people will have the odd bad experience. This will be due to any number of factors that may or may not be within the traders control.

Blink may be the best trader in the world, or a may be hopeless, I don't know. But having had only good experiences with them, I am just adding my 2 pence worth to maintain a balanced view.

After all, nothing is easier to gain and harder to loose than a bad reputation.
