I just mounted my V-Paddles on my Evo 90.

While screwing them on to the flybar, The threaded metal insert came out of the paddle on both of them. Is this normal?

Should I glue the inserts?
I realize that the only thing really holding the paddles onto the flybar is the set screws, which I plan to loctite in.

Is it me, or do the V-Paddles from V-Blades seem unsafe?

No, it's not normal for the threaded insert to come out.

Just add a dab of CA to the metal inserts and put them back into the paddle. Let it dry for a bit then re-thread it onto the paddle.
