I'm helping a friend assemble a Raptor 620E. One of the problems we faced was connecting the heavy duty cable from a CC HV85 controller to the 4mm connectors. The tinned ends of the cables measured over 5mm diameter. These were cut off and the (untinned) cables would then fit into a 4.40mm hole.

The little adaptors shown were made to accept the cable on one side and the 3mm nipple fits inside the 4mm connectors, and all soldered together.

I use Great Planes 4mm connectors – they have very large solder ends that easily accommodate the HV-85 cable size. The male connectors are GPMM3114 and the female are GPMM3115. You get 3 per package.

I did the same as you Ben. I used the GP 4mm connectors on my Swift with CC45-HV and my e620 with CC85-HV. They worked out great.
