Question - the rules say eye level, and most peoplr I know hover between eye level and top of head.

Do you think there is an issue with flying higher than that? Say by a foot.......??????

Cheers

Rules

The rules say skids at eye level but the judges are seated and cannot easily tell a one ft increase. I would rather be a little high than low (high is a minor deduction, low is a major deduction).

On a dog sled team, if you're not the lead dog, the view never changes.

Hi Marc

Do the rules talk about the eye height of the pilot or the caller ?

If it is a safty issue.....it should be the higher of the two....

Regards

Paul

Must be from the pilot. The caller does not have to stand up.

In the UK
were are measured with skids at eye level which from a safety point of view means the disk is above your head.

I have also done judging in f3C, normally when sitting down you can tell if a pilot is hovering below this height, i am very tall 6ft 5, so with me it easily shows up if i drop.

Hope this helps
Matt
