I believe a Maxi Joker 2 would be the largest or near the largest you will find for electrics. It believe it can swing 810mm blades which should give plenty of lift for all but the heaviest of equipment.

I forget who, but I seem to remember someone (perhaps Tabb) working on a stretch for the Maxi Joker 2 so it could swing 900mm blades.

However, that is just hearsay at this point.

Anybody wish to elaborate???

Sorry, that's what I meant to say. I'd love to push my maxi a little more, and get 900's on there ( or even 850's), but I'd start to worry about the spindle.

esc=Phoenix 85HV
LiPos=FlightPower EVO 20 (2x)5s2p
AUFW=20lbs
Cheers,

Go visit http://www.scalerchelis.com and search the threads for the converted Vario Benzins. There's probably a dozen of them flying around the country at the moment, stuffed inside scale fuselages of various weights. Joe Howard of East Coast Vario sells a kit to convert the Benzin. But for now, the largest "purpose built" electric in mainstream manufacture is the Maxi Joker v2, no stretch required.
