Just saw this on ebay.

I could be wrong but I think I've seen this exact listing up for sale many times on ebay and I've been interested every time. Wondering what more experienced modelers think about the listing?

No feedback, just joined ebay 2 days ago. Save your time and money, if that auction isn't pulled for being a scam I'll be shocked.

Send him and email saying you have a fried in the area would he mind that person taking a few close up pictures and inspecting it. I doubt you will get a response let alone a phone number and address. If they respond it will be some run around about it being in storage blah blah.

It's a SCAM...I too have seen that heli on ebay more than once. The seller is new and the payments are not protected. I would most definatly steer clear of this one. You could ask if he could take a specific picture you want of the heli...I bet he can't even do that much.

Advice is appreciated.

I know that I've seen this helicopter many times for sale on Ebay. I don't understand how several of the same high end helis keep coming up for sale again and again (and they seem to be scams). In other words, why are people trying to scam RC Heli pilots with these high end birds. It seems that most of the people who would buy a helicopter like this (which should go in the $2000 to $4000 range) would be pretty knowledgeable on the subject so you think it would be difficult to scam such individuals?

I wonder if anyone knows the true owner of this very distinctive helicopter and maybe that person could let ebay know this looks like a scam.

I know I would be very angry if I were taken on a deal like this.

If anyone is interested in a Tow Cobra, I have one. It's made by Horobo . I have had it for about a year. I flew it once for about 5 minutes. The paint job on it was not clear coated, So the fuel ate the bottom of the fuse. Other than that it's new.

Just do it.

Scams!!!

There was one on in Dec for another Cobra located within 600 miles of me, so I requested some pic's of it, which they sent to me promptly, and when I asked about picking it up, they did respond, but it was no cannot do the pick up... (RUN!!!!!) Something about a special discount they had with a shipping company and that is why they could sell the machine at such a low price, they were making money on the shipping.....(RUN!!!!)
After the completion of the listing, they contacted me directly and sent more info that I requested and offered it to me for $1400.00.. and BE ADVISED, the answers they were giving were "almost" 100% correct.. so it was getting hard to figure if it was a scam or just maybe I was get on heck of a deal (RUN!!!!)
Then the final info showed up....
This was from a shipping company and on it I was told that I should send a postal money order directly to them and that they would ship the box (most likely that would contain a rock if you were lucky) within three days... and I had they held the funds until I agreed that the merchandise was acceptable.... at which time they would release the funds to the seller.. but on the forms, the buyer became the exporter and the seller became the importer.. (Something is getting a bit strange smelling here??? RUN!!!!) I sent the forms to my attorney which told me that he had NEVER seen anything like this and that he would stay as far away as possible...
Needless to say, I am 100% certain that I saved myself $1400.00 worth of air that may have been shipped...
But BEWARE... the pic's, information, and THE DEAL, can really make you want to "trust" that it is a "good deal"... It is.... FOR THEM!!!
Good Luck and hope this clears up some of the other questions that were posted.... Stan

I did the same thing telling him I had a friend in the area that I would like to send over to take a look at it for me and no reply. I also asked for more pics and again no reply. This is a major scam buyer beware.

Enjoy the day for we know not what tomorrow holds
