Anyone ever used a Deans 3-pin connector between a gyro and servo when shortening the wires? It seems like it would be a good idea and there's no crimping required. Also, what about hard wiring this connection? How is that usually done? Servo wires soldered to gyro board?

Hi, I think the plug idea is great. For most small helis, the wires are way too long. For the 'normal' big helis, you must just buy the correct length extention...

I would not hard wire the servo to the gyro, just for ease of maintanance.
