Guys,

In process of installing a 9650 on my SE. Have sorted out the mounting no problem, but could you help me with the following:

1) Have used the closest mounting hole on the supplied servo wheel, which seems to be about 7/7.5mm out from the centre - is this the recommended setting?

2) When using the standard countersunk screw for the ball there appears to be very little thread for the nut to go on, because the new servo wheel is slightly thicker than the previous servo - any suggestions?

Regards,

David

Most have no problems with that hole location. File some of the cylindrical portion of the ball down.

That is just a locking nut, if you can get 2 threads caught and locktite it your good to go.. OR do like Boidman suggested....

I have found the ball link screws are too short for HS-65 arms as well. There is not full thread engagement in the nut. However, I use Locktite and have never had one come loose in about 200 flights. Would like to see a longer screw though.
