How many large manufactures turn out perfect products. Cars, planes, boats, space programs don't even get it right every time. I own a Raptor and have had both a 50 and 90 and they never have been perfect. Look at Align what is the 450 on the V60 model.

I own a small Service Business and we can't get it perfect every day after 20+ years but we provide the best service we can and take care of the issues the best we can with a smile on our face.

So If you expect it to be perfect out of the box every time I think that the price point would be much higher. It has been 6 month since the first kits and I would guess several thousand kits by now. My guess a parts run is 1000 parts, so that is maybe three cycles for changes in production.

I still enjoy reading about the problems and issues on RR so carry on.

Take A Closer Look...

because I think you'll find it has issues also. However I still think it's a fine heli.

First off, after flying my Synergy, I am glad I sorted through the small QA issues and put it in the air. So much so that I am building a second one. I am trying a few different things, like different servos (9155s), different engine, and different head settings. I just want to use it to compare a few things. It's almost complete and so far I have had one tiny issue, ( 1 hole was not drilled ) 5 min. fix.

On my last X-Spec one important hole was drilled and tapped at the wrong angle, yes they replaced it. On my Evo - 50 the fuel tank was defective, yes they replaced it.

On my Knight-50 the tail drive gear doesn't line up without being shortened, I fixed it.

On my last MA the tail gears were not drilled and tapped, yes they replaced them.

On my last Raptor, the kit was missing parts, yes they sent them to me.

Are all of these things a small nuisance? yes. Do I like to whine about them? Well sometimes.

Bottom line, I care more about how the issues are handled then finding them. And all of the above items were handled very well. My after purchase customer support from the Synergy Team has been outstanding! I would expect no less from Todd, Jason, and Ron Lund whom I bought it from. If there's better people in the industry, I haven't met them.

Now the real bottom line, how does it fly and stand up? I have never flown a heli that flies the way I want a heli to fly better then this heli does, PERIOD! I have about 10 gallons through mine, and have had zero reliability issues.

can say the same thing about a vibe, i have seen the tailbox explode about 5 times on a vibe at the field. he hasnt even flow it a whole flight and hes had it a year. 5 CRASHES! oh and by the way I HAVE THE FIRST KIT FROM RICKS, so i dont think i got all the parts after they were fixed. i just didnt have any issues with any of my parts.

TY,

click, click

I fly with a guy that's built and owned almost every heli there is. and his current ammunition is a synergy and a VIBE.

So I'm watching, listening, learning and appreciate the entertainment.

the issues won't get fixed quickly imo as there is still some arse lickers here who are looking with their eyes shut. i love my synergys and nothing flies aswell as them but i'm not going to tell anyone it's not got problems.

i guess the 5 kits in our club were hand picked to be the only bad ones then. ALL of them (my own 2 have same probs and they are 1st and 3rd batch) have the same probs.

cheers

one i saw recently was VERY recent, Same old problems.

All these defective parts should ahve been pulled.

But that would have cost money wouldnt it.

As far as i have seen there hasnt even been an attempt to correct this really ridiculous situation.

Thanks for the kick in the balls

No thats not the case, obviously the UK pilots are noticing things more when they build.

So it's not just me. There really is a difference between the UK pilots and the rest of the world.

I finished the build on my N9 two weeks ago and it came together nicely. I didn’t experience any of the problems others went through. I took my time building it and read up on other people’s tips. There’s a ton of great building advice here on RR. On its maiden flight, the N9 tracked perfect. I’ve put a few tanks through it and so far I really like it.
