This heli has had all the mods (extra bearing etc) and 4 gallons of fuel

yesterday i had a hard landing that broke the skids on one side, fair enough my fault.

but after looking at it, it need spindle, blades & skids + crown and tail gears.

why are the plastic gears so expensive 10.99 each, "YES Each" and then 21.99 for the crown gear ? £44 quid just for the gears for touching the tail in :/

not impressed as i was under the impression this was cheap parts like raptor.

anyway rant over sorry

but I'm gonna pass it on and probably go electric trex 600 or somit

so what would be the best way to sell air frame alone or with engine and pipe or break it and sell all the parts spare.

Sorry to hear Jason,
There is a market out there for the N9, have you repaired it or is that why you are looking to break for spares??

Post it up in the classifieds section, i had plenty of interest in mine even after all the names i called it!! So selling yours should be a breeze

To break mains blades wouldnt you call it a crash? Some parts on the N9 are dear but no more expensive then any high end 90. Every time I broke blades on my 90SE I bent metal head parts and they were very costly.
You should get a good price for it as they are starting to gian in numbers so there a hot seller.

Spares prices

Hi Arky.

I did a similar thing the other day. It was quite windy, and the Tail rotor touched the ground under landing - Price: 125$ (including 25% danish vat) for a new Crown gear, 2 bevel gears and a set of tail blades. No, the parts for this bird is anything but cheap

Unfortunally I bought this heli before I saw the spares prices...... LESSON LEARNT....

Yes a crash due to a hard landing, sorry for not getting that correct, i try harder next time.

£6.99 spindle
£10.99 skids
£7.99 tail output shaft (because factory fitted grub screw in rounded out , the shaft is not bent !)
£21.99 Crown gear
£21.98 £10.99 x2 tail gears (rip off imo) TT90 set is
£4.99
sorry but this pea'ed me off

so be careful as if u touch ur tail in the long grass its gonna cost u £43.97 just for the gears LOL

I had a very bad crash. Destroyed all the gears, blades and associated parts. Yep a big high end 90 is expensive. If you want to compare costs just look at a Minature Air. I have heard from many that they are very expensive to repair. More so than a N9.

Also remember that any blade break includes, bearings, shafts, and many other items. It's just the way it is.

While I am not as familiar with other models such as the Freya, I do know that parts for the higher end heli is a bit expensive as well.

Remember that in general a heli is 1,000+ parts trying to destroy itself. When you crash several of those parts get destroyed.

minair versus synergy prices

if you compare minair prices to synergy in the uk its barmy

A tail boom made up of shaft, boom and 2 boom supports is 95 quid nearly.

half that for synergy. So its all relative.

Welcome to rip off britain! Some dealers are doing their best however

TT: MA (With the ends mounted) 22£ (Synergy 30£ without ends)
Crown gear: MA 16£ (Synergy 27£)

Man thats a surprise on the TT prices you listed there. Every time I cut the tail off my Fury Extreme it cost a fortune. The thing I hate replacing in crashes are blades and electronics, nothing adds to the price of a crash like a 611.

Yes, but Synergy prices are the same all over the world, only small changes (Tax)

I buy many parts in UK, Except Synergy parts, I am not alloved to buy them outside DK..... If you dont like the MA prices in UK you can buy them in DK............
